With the public opinion on plant-based cheese at an all time low, Daiya knew that getting consumers to try plant-based foods can be a challenge, especially if they don’t have any dietary restrictions.

Since pyramid schemes successfully leverage peer-to-peer recommendations to convince people to try new products, we thought, “why can’t we do the same with their delicious pizza?”

Introducing the Pizza Pyramid Scheme. While pyramid schemes are illegal, yes, but not this one. Opposed to the morally ambiguous shake downs of friends and family to keep your place in the pyramid, this pyramid scheme was designed to do one things only: bring people free pizza.
